With about 20 games left before the playoffs, the Raptors are still firmly in the mix to finish atop the standings, but they’ve left the Celtics in the dust. Toronto currently sits second in the East, with Boston all the way down in fifth and 7.5 games back.

The Raptors earned an emphatic win over their Atlantic Division rival Tuesday night, handing the Celtics their most lopsided loss of the season. Boston is looking for a life vest after dropping three consecutive games out of the all-star break, two against fellow contenders in the Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks, and one against the lowly Chicago Bulls.

While Toronto is trending up, Boston is facing chemistry questions as it gears up for the stretch run. With a per-season darling falling on hard times, the negative headlines are piling up in Beantown.
